R8 = "Rate"
Finding something good to watch is getting harder and harder. More content means more great entertainment, but it also means lots more to sift through to find something good. R8 allows you to easily get streaming recommendations from your friends and share your recommendations with them.
Unlike other apps, we don't pull in random recommendations from strangers. You'll only see recommendations from compatible users you follow...usually your friends ;) And...recommendations are intelligently generated simply by liking and disliking movies and shows in the app!
With R8, you will:
1. Get intelligent recommendations based on your likes / dislikes and those of your friends
2. Find out what service a show is streaming on and filter all results by only the services you have
3. Maintain a universal watchlist across all your streaming services
4. See what your friends think of a movie or show before investing your time
5. Get the conversation going with comments and chat with your friends about a movie or show

Version 1.5.4
The latest version of R8 contains lots of updates we think you're going to love!
New sharing options! Whether individual movies or shows, entire film collections, or profile pages of individual users - this content can now be shared directly with friends and followers as an Instagram story, in an SMS message, or via WhatsApp.
Redesigned profile page: now with a summary overview that provides a first impression of the respective film collection (including top genres, last recommended, last followed, number of all-time favorites).
Activity: we restructured the page to group activity when one user has added lots of likes at once. You'll no longer see 50 activities from one user in a row unless you want to tap in for the full list.
In addition: numerous smaller improvements and minor bug fixes.

You can see what your friends like which helps with recommendations. I especially like that I can keep a list of things I want to watch and it tells me what streaming service it is available on.
