Ink’s Lake Texas

This is an amazing campground. We stayed here for the eclipse on April 8. Bonus feature was the wildflowers were at their peak. The trails are fun and they have easy ones for those who are unable to cover a long distance, all with amazing views. The staff and store personnel were very accommodating and friendly. Special kudos to Nola for helping us with our reservations, as we had several campsites and cabins we had reserved for family and friends. She patiently attended to all of them for us over the phone so that everyone had a quick check in when they arrived.
The restrooms and showers were clean and well maintained. I can’t say enough good things about the park.

Great unless you find a site before you log in

I made the mistake of looking at sites and selecting the book now button before I logged in to my RA account. When I did sign in, it sent me back to square one to select a site and the site and info I had already entered was not available because the web site thought someone else was trying to book it (I could have waited for 15 or so minutes to see if it came back but would have to risk losing another site due to the delay). At any rate, it was frustrating when the page I was looking at said, if I had an account, I should log in, then the presumption is that you would pick up with the info you had already entered. But, apparently that is not how it works and that is, at a minimum, very frustrating.

Multiple reservations

This is not the apps fault but it is so cumbersome to make more than one reservation at a time. I just had to make reservations for our group of four spots, although I entered all the required information each time, it said it was all missing when I went to my cart. You also have to start all over every time you make a new reservation. For example I wanted to make a reservation for four spots in a row at the same park and same dates, but I had to go back each time and select the park, then the dates, then entered all the info...the whole time praying nobody was snagging up one of the only 4 spots that will work for our group. A person should be able to click multiple spots and make a single reservation.
