Ratings and Reviews
The app could be better
I guess it does the job but could be much better and often glitches and shows nothing. At all. In Los Angeles. I have to delete and download again for it to work. Then it becomes not worth the trouble.
Sooo needing a new roommate again, I re downloaded Rad Pad and relisted my ad from last year, which was in the Inactive section. I updated the ad a little, and attempted to add new pics and select a new cover photo, but when you go to edit pics, you can’t even see or select most of them. As if it’s made for a desktop and they haven’t updated that section for mobile. After relisting the ad, making it “active”, I went to check and it still shows as inactive AND active. The ap is constantly loading trying to do something. And there is NO way anywhere to start a new ad from scratch. Ridiculous
Bad UX and Buggy
They need to focus on fixing with user experience, mainly the user flows. Their content is effective at hooking you to give them more of your personal information making you think it’s required or to increase your chances I’ll becoming a tenant, i.e., “add credit report”.
But then the process of building your profile is insanely frustrating. Trust me, just use their website on desktop.
Using this mobile app will give you error like adding your credit report if you didn’t add your current address in the rental history section first. Some external account will not link to your profile. Your profile will look incomplete with many “non-verified” badges in different sections, i.e. “Income” section. Wait sorry, that last one is exclusive to desktop view. Lol.
Would have give 1 star, but will give 2 because of the discounted rate for rent. I’ve searched other sites and the prices seem to be higher. Hopefully these discounted rates are true.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
