I paid $6 but can’t even use it :/

I want to like this app, but upon testing it out with a random photo, it’s hard to see the filters because it’s so buggy. There’s lots of options which is great, but I can’t scroll without it bugging out and it makes it hard to navigate.

It also doesn’t pick up a lot of photos from my camera roll. The ones that I want to edit don’t even show up in the app. I even try waiting a while and screenshooting them again so I have multiples of the same photo, and I still can’t see them. So I haven’t been able to use it and I paid a good amount to have some cool photos. I was excited but am really disappointed.

UPDATE:
Kate immediately reached out and helped me in troubleshooting the issues. She very clearly cares about her users and is putting in work towards constantly improving her app. I was able to get a couple things resolved, overall it is usable for me now and that’s what I was looking for. Hi! Sorry you're having a rough go of it... Let me help you out. So a few things. 1) Regarding filters: They preview in a specific blend mode on your image b/c of the blend mode (which works best for rainbows), the filters are not always visible on your background image, for the most part filters won't appear on really light or really dark backgrounds. Which is why I added a second blending option. It's called GLOW. If you double tap on the filter you will see an editing screen - on the right there's a rainbow icon called glow - tap to turn it on or off - it totally "Ups" the filter vibrancy. You can reduce effect with the toggle bar.

As for photos not showing up. It could be a couple of things. Are these photos you took with your phone? Or are they RAW images? My app only takes JPEG and PNG files. Also I really don't recommend screen shotting b/c it shrinks the image and will degrade the resolution a lot.

Love this app

While I've experienced some of the issues I see here, this app is SO worth it. I worked with the free version for a while before finally upgrading, and I'm so glad I did. The creator will go above and beyond to fix your concerns and is so, so helpful and sweet. I use this app for my poetry account on instagram and it helps me display my work in such a unique, gorgeous way. It really makes show-stopping work.
When I was having an issue with a change made after an update, the creator personally helped me and made changes to the app once she saw what I was trying to do. There are ways to work around any glitchy-ness (I always work connected to wifi).
There are infinite possibilities with this app and so much for beautiful art, filters, and text options. I seriously don't know what I'd do without it!

Unlimited fun with photo enhancement!

I came across this app when I wanted to find a way to add angel wings to a photo of my dog (in the event of her passing). Delighted to find that Rainbow Love had this covered! This is my first and only app purchase and it is amazingly intuitive and easy to use for someone as inexperienced as I am. Kate, the developer, has combined color, creativity and charm to offer endless combinations of graphic embellishments that will make your photos and posts standouts. I could play with this all day. Sometimes I make several different "final products" before choosing the one that best expresses what I want to communicate. Love the artistry and effort that went into creating this app. I couldn't be happier with Rainbow Love. P. S. Kate rocks, too!
