Works great for my purposes

I work with a lot of large CAD and graphic files. Some of the cad files are as large as 900 GB. What I enjoy about A-Zipper is that it squeezes these files with ease.

The same goes with extraction. SEveral of my customers will send FTPlinks from their own sites for me to pick up their large files. Bringing them in is easy. What surprised me when I first started using this zipper was how quickly and clean the extracted files were. No added artifacts or mising components, nless the manufacturer did not inlude them.

I gave A-Zippr a 4 star rating because like all of us, we continue to strive dor better apps and results. If the scale were 1-10, i would give a 9 star rating for the same reason.

Gets the job done -- easily

I use this mainly to compress folders and add a password to them. It works quickly and easily. Furthermore, people I send the files (even those using non-Apple platforms) can access the files successfully.

not pollished and missing important features

settings: Name of compressed files askes to keep same as source file name or custom name. Choosing custom name does not change the name of compressed files, but instead changes the name of the archive with the files retaining their original names. (zip with password).

if compressing files with a password in zip format, it leaves a filename that can be read in plain text at the password screen when attempting to decompress/decrypte.

if compressing files with password using7z format. it keeps you from seeing file names in plain text at time of asking for the password... but if you continue to decompress/decrypt you get extracted files in a hidden folder that starts with a "." Very frustrating.
