HIGHLIGHTS:
- Identify Your Rash: Rash ID automatically finds your rash using your camera. Just tap the predicted area for your skin irregularity to be identified.
-Save Your Scan: With the ability to save your scan, you can come back to verify your rash or compare scans. This makes it easy to track your healing process.
- Helpful Content: Rash ID is packed with content for each disease. It can help you understand your rash, where you got it, and how to treat it.
-Secure & Private: All quick skin analyses are performed on your device keeping your scans private.
While rashes can be difficult to diagnose, Rash ID’s advanced AI is trained on thousands of images, allowing it to identify dozens of rashes, skin allergies, and other irregularities in any location. Just aim your camera. Tap to confirm, and identify your skin condition in seconds.
SCAN
Rash ID uses your phone's cameras to perform a comprehensive scan of your skin. By scanning your skin in real time, rather than using a single picture, Rash ID is able to gather more data producing a more accurate scan.
IDENTIFY
Using advanced AI, Rash ID analyzes a high detail scan right on your device quickly and securely identify your skin disease. Trained on a dermatology database containing thousands of images, Rash ID is built on reliable clinical data you can trust.
LEARN
Rash ID is equipped with a library of information where you can learn about each condition. Get insight on the causes, symptoms, and treatments of your skin condition.
Rash ID’s medical content is based on the best available medical knowledge. All sources are evaluated for statistical validity, diagnostic accuracy, and clinical viability to help produce the most precise content. Rash ID’s content is adapted from leading sources including U.S. National Library of Medicine, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Health Organization, notable textbooks, and medical review articles. Completely unreliable
I had a rash that my doctor said was poison ivy. Before going to the doctor, I tried this app. It identified the same patch as impetigo, scabies, poison ivy, ringworm, and a few other things. Basically, it scrolled through all of the possible rashes in the app and randomly attributed the same rash to all of them. Wish I’d saved my money.

Hi, we’re really sorry for the experience you had with the app over three years ago. We understand how frustrating it must have been to receive inconsistent results. Since then, we’ve made major updates to improve the accuracy of the app and prevent issues like this from happening. We’ve introduced MUM, an AI dermatologist that not only scans rashes but also asks specific questions about your symptoms to provide more accurate and personalized results.
We’ve come a long way, and we now offer a free trial so you can try the updated version without any risk. Thank you for your feedback—it’s helped us make these important improvements, and we hope you’ll consider giving the app another chance!
Inaccurate every time!
I purchased this app because I had a rash pop up on my back after being at the beach. I assumed it was heat rash but thought the purchase of the app was worth the confirmation. I scanned my rash and it came up with chicken pox. I knew that was incorrect so I tried again. The second time it said scabies. I felt that most likely inaccurate, so I tried one last time. The third time it said melasma. I finally decided to go to the doctor after a week without improvement and it is, in fact, a heat rash. The only thing accurate about this application is that it will give you inaccurate results every time! Don’t waste your money!

Hi, we’re really sorry about the frustrating experience you had two years ago. We know how important it is to get accurate results, especially when it comes to your health. Since then, we’ve made major updates to improve the app's accuracy, including a more advanced scanning model and the introduction of MUM, our AI dermatologist. MUM not only analyzes your rash but also asks questions about your symptoms, just like a real dermatologist, to help provide more reliable results.
We now also offer a free trial, so you can try the new version risk-free. Thank you for your feedback—it helped us recognize where we needed to improve, and we hope you’ll consider giving us another try!
Zero help
Did not help identify the rash at all. The results that came up were completely inaccurate. I read the info just out of curiosity and it was also not very informative even if it had been that particular rash…which it was not. After I took the first scan, I could not get it to scan again for a different view of the rash region. This app might be helpful if you have lived under a rock and don’t know how to identify basic, common rashes but you would probably be better served just opening up a random parenting book or doing a Google search for free.

Hi, we’re really sorry that the app didn’t help you back in June and that the information provided wasn’t as useful as you had hoped. Since then, we’ve completely overhauled the app’s accuracy and usability. In May, we released a major update that made our QuickScan model 4x more accurate and able to identify 15 additional skin conditions. We’ve also introduced an AI dermatologist feature, MUM, that interacts with users and asks questions to help provide more tailored and accurate results.
Additionally, we’ve added guides to help you navigate the app more easily, including scanning from different angles. We really appreciate your feedback—it has helped us make the app much better, and we hope you’ll consider giving it another try!
