Ratings and Reviews
i really enjoy being able to rapidly fold and unfold arbitrarily complex xml documents to discover their structure and immediately find the relevant information. no text editor comes close to the convenience. really nice. the only thing that i found missing is a tag-tree-breadcrumb trail to the currently chosen item.
Works as expected
All I wanted was a way to open XML in a prettified view. The outline pane is nice touch.
a decent version 1
RawDog XML opens and displays the XML cleanly. The Pretty Print funciton works well. The Treeview/Outline left panel allows the user to navigate the XML quickly. I woudl suggest that the outline panel inlcude the value as well as the property name. In my example, I see an outline of 300+ “Table” without the value or name of the table. The value would be useful. There is a mouse over to preview the properties and that’s nice.
