Not sure what pinion to use in your new R/C car? So Dialed is here to help!

Just enter some information about your car, and our RC Gear Recommender uses artificial intelligence to suggest a great pinion gear, so you get on the track fast.

Ideal for:
- Electric cars and trucks, 1/8, 1/10, and 1/12 scale
- On-road, off-road, dirt oval, and drag
- Cars with foam tires work fine, too - just enter your tire diameter

Please note: everyone's car and track is different! We recommend gears based on typical race cars under typical racing conditions, but if you've done something crazy to your car, our recommendations may not work.

Also, our recommendations are a starting point, so after you try the pinion we suggest, please experiment to see what works best for your driving style and your track, and be sure to record your setups and races in our RC Setup App (link below.)

Simply Amazing

This is a must have application if you’re building and racing R/C vehicles! I used to constantly waste time trying to find the perfect spur/pinion ratio for the track. I’d find it eventually, but then the track would change or I’d race another brand or model car and be back to square one. With this app it can’t be simple. All you need to do is find your R/C car’s make/model, the motor you use or plan to use, then select all the track specifications and boom…your done. Who ever developed this app is awesome. Also the developer make’s a bunch of other must have mobile applications for R/C enthusiasts.

Maths

I set out to create an app similar to this for my rc car club. When searching to see if something like this existed, it does. And you are actually reading this. I’m actually typing this. But when you read this, time will have passed since I wrote it. So I’m not actually inside your phone holding up a message on poster board. But that would be really awesome. But as cool as all that, this app is better.

Great App for any R/C enthusiast

This is a great app for anyone trying to figure out gearing, or at least where to start! I would like to see some other models added (Hyper VS2E) but if you know your models and what’s the same it doesn’t matter anyway. What this app recommended is actually what I came up with as my best option from testing myself as well.
