I love when an app gives me the experience to be able to chat with a representative instead of having to go to their website. While it does serve the purpose of being able to pay your bill, it would be nice if there were some added features.

In general, RCN is full of incompetence. I downloaded the app to avoid paying an extra fee and it informed me sign up via mobile app was unavailable, go to the website. Fine, so I go to the website and continuously get the “an error occurred” message. Alright, guess I’m using the dreaded automated system. There’s a reason I hate all automated systems and RCN’s drove that reason home. After waiting for what felt like an eternity to get to the point where I could enter my payment information, it sent me to a representative. I explained to the woman what happened and explained that I did not want to spend $6 to have her do it ($4.50 for the automated system is bad enough). She seemed puzzled and told me she could transfer me back to the automated system. By this point, I’m so fed up, I figured I’d give it another try. Nope, the automated system failed to allow me to enter my payment method. Now no reps are available and I have to wait 15 minutes to speak to someone who I’m sure will be yet another incompetent person. Get your crap together, RCN! Your customer service, automated system, mobile app and website are severely flawed! Hire some competent people and not high school drop outs who just spew out what they’re programmed to say! If I could give 0 stars, I would!

Convenient but could use some updating
The app works great when it comes to paying my bill and it saves me the extra dollar that it would cost to pay from a computer. There is one thing I wish they would change however. It would be nice if there was an option to save my billing info so I don't have to grab my card every time I have to pay my bill. I have a tendency to remember to pay my bill when my card is no where near me so it would be a bit more convenient if this were an option.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
