Ready-DLL is a mobile solution for Head Start and Early Head Start teachers and caregivers who want to access information, build rich language experiences, and implement strategies to support children who are dual language learners (DLLs).

Using Ready-DLL, teachers can earn badges each week by completing different activities. Discover tips for setting up classrooms and learn survival words and phrases in seven languages to support children with diverse home languages.

We are listening to our users and have added survival words and sentences in three NEW languages – Somali, Russian, and Vietnamese. Early educators will continue to enjoy our app and will be able to expand their language skills to support families with diverse home languages.

Fun app & interactive

This app gives me access to words that are important for supporting and engaging children who speak other languages. The videos are short and engaging and the llama makes it fun to track my progress.

Many glitches

I am happy to see the resources, but many of them are inaccessible from the app. The links to the PDFs do not open in the browser when you click on them. Some of the links to the resources seem to be broken.
