Intrusive advertisements are killing this site
This used to be my go to site with balanced views on the world. The new format is not as good as the previous one - but I had accepted that since I still got to read both sides ..... then they changed things with more and more intrusive ads taking over and REPEATEDLY redirecting me away from articles.
I have to imagine this change is fueled by a dire economic situation bc why else drive readers away. Bummer.
Great Articles - Poorly Executed Display
Love the articles but there now appears to be fewer of them. The app seems to be “improving” itself into oblivion. The format is terrible, as it now roams and moves around with a mind of its own, making it difficult to actually read the articles. The old version was so much simpler and much better at both number of articles and format - I could look at all the articles available and make my own choices as to what to read. Please return to what made your app so great. I don’t need you to separate everything under banners - i can read and make my own observations and see what the news of the day is. Please fix the format issues so we can actually see and use the otherwise excellent content.
Getting worse daily
I find it difficult to read even a single article without severe interruptions that require re-finding my place in the article or the article itself- very tiresome. The layout & advertising add to the problems. Editorial choices are becoming less balanced. Poll coverage is ridiculous: having all the details about 2016– but no reporting of methodologies of the surveys themselves reduces reliability of conclusions. As a source for a variety of publications it seems to be degenerating to little better than Apple News!
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
