RealRoots is like a shiny shooting star - it just came out of nowhere on my IG ads and (very unlike me) I opened it and felt the pull because I’ve been struggling to make new friends but I’ve been in the same area for three years! I felt the need to take the plunge out of my comfort zone. Since the first night - like the ‘test meet up’ things felt exciting, energy was moving! Then since our first official evening out together through the end of the facilitated meet ups, we can’t wait for our girls night together…the first week was hard to get out of routine and take a leap of faith with new people, but the girls and I really got on and I definitely feel I’m coming out of this with more than 1 good friend. We’ve already planned a Friendsgiving with our whole group! It feels really good to connect with new women at 35. RealRoots did a good job with pairing us - mostly remote working professionals who needed a nudge to ‘get out there again’!

Truly had the absolute lowest expectations going in to this experience, but figured if nothing else I would get out of my house for a few hours. In just a few short weeks I have made true connections with women whom I probably would have never met otherwise. We have all had such a great time that none of us want to stop seeing each other and have made plans to continue our Gal Dates for the foreseeable future. Each week has been an absolute delight and I have truly looked forward to each outing. Everything from our group matching, our guide, and our actual group has been perfect and I could not have asked for anything different. I have recommended RealRoots to just about everyone I know now and am so glad I happened to stumble across it and sign up. Best decision ever.

Ok so this is an update fromMy previous review. Currently have only been to the 1st meet & greet. And while the location was not ideal for several reasons the over all experience so far has been positive in terms of our group leader and the other women I’ve met. I plan to continue the series and see how it goes. However my feedback to the folks in charge would be 1) the app needs some work - it is not intuitive and is rather glitchy. 2) better communication- the only way to attempt to get any questions answered before the 1st M & G is via an email address that no one apparently checks. Several emails I have sent with various questions at different points have gone unanswered. 3) choose more appropriate location for the initial M&G - ours was a brewery with no food which was super loud making it hard to hear with a large group - also not great for those who don’t/can’t drink beer or who have come right after work/or rarely get out and would like at least some snacks. Will update more as the experience goes
