I live this game, wish they kept the first games art style but it doesn’t hurt the game much. Been waiting for ever for the next game. This one is actually long n has multiple endings. I live how the last stage is done. Caught me off guard. Can recommend game to strategy oriented people. Start with pause on turn first.

  • This game is a golden oldie

If you’re looking for a classic game that has no ads and has actual gameplay than this is a good pick for you. It has an end of trading system as well as a nice story if a little generic at times. but if you’re looking for something real, then I suggest you pick this game up.

  • I love it despite I have not much clue

I liked it a lot, it is the first Rebuild I have played. But I don’t have much clue of how to know how to win the good end. But, I will try to put more attention, I have read all, but English is not my first language and I dunno if that is the reason that I can’t catch the clues. I have not idea how to get all the Research.

One of my favorite flash games got a sequel, amazing. I would recommend playing rebuild 2 on newgrounds to anyone who is unfamiliar with the series. I will admit that it is not for everyone, but it is definitely my cup of tea. It was encouraging to see that you can get this both on steam or mobile, and it definitely is not a cash grab. The IOS optimization is great, and seamless. The subtle storytelling is refreshing though allying with the other factions. I did find it unclear in the begging that you could have multiple talents for other characters and not just builders or just engineers, but eventually figured it out. It took me a while to figure out how to play (maybe adding an optional tutorial that can be played at anytime) but it has been a great experience. In the story, each area has a different challenge, and with the random generation, it should have great repeatability. A small thing that I would add (cause to my knowledge you can't mod iPhone games) is how the dating system worked, cause you could pick the survivor you wanted to date, and then you could determine how someone got married and they would have kids. But then the event stopped; I assume it is just one of the random ones but I would find it an interesting mechanic with survivor management. (Or maybe you can but I haven't unlocked it yet). Any way you cut it, an overall great game that accomplishes everything t set its mind to.

I’ve been playing since Rebuild 1 when it was on flash, and now, here I am playing it on mobile! Everything about this game is awesome from the character customization, the storyline, the events, character arcs, etc. My only complaint about this is *Spoiler alert, please look away now, or seal your fate*There’s 4 different endings, and you don’t know this until it’s too late. I remember going into the last city, ready to get an amazing ending, thinking I found a cure and was ready to help everybody out, only to find out to get the good ending, you had to complete something in the first 3 maps to get it. Not cool. The fact the “cure,” was actually the omega virus in a “Trojan horse,” was downright not fair when I thought I did everything right to get it. The only way I found out how to get the good ending was by looking it up online and come to find out, I nearly accidentally stumbled upon the good ending but because I made one or two decisions without realizing how impactful they’d be, I lost it. All that work was for nothing, and what do I get? A jump scare which scared the living daylights out of me since I was playing close to midnight and didn’t see it coming at all given the way this series is.But back to a positive note, this game really is that great, I just wish they made it more clear towards the beginning on how to get the good ending.

  • Truly worth the money

I played rebuild and rebuild 2 online and loved them, for a free online game they were pretty good. I bought both the rebuild games on the App Store but I didn’t play this one for a while because of how different it was from the first two, it was a little tricky for me starting out but once I have it a chance I was hooked. For a mobile game and the little amount of money it cost, it is very very worth it. I played through the first time in about a week playing whenever I had the chance. It’s worth the 5 stars but the different endings can be very difficult. I’ve looked for walkthroughs and only found one that seems legitimate, it would be nicer if the random events that ultimately effect the outcome of the game, would be more obvious. I’m not asking for easy peasy, just to be aware of the things I need to do so I can do them.I’m really torn between 4 and 5 stars because it really is amazing, even with the difficulty in figuring out how to get the different endings. I haven’t been disappoint by any of the rebuild games and look forward to any future projects in this series. It’s now on steam so I plan to buy that whenever I can :)
