Not very functional

The health assessment freezes if you leave the app screen to do something else. When you go back it says it might take some time and you get a spinning wheel. Even after 10-15 min it doesn’t come back and even if I close the app and reopen I can’t get back into the health assessment.

Some of the content is actually alright although last year the health assessment calculated my BMI from my 9 months pregnant weight and suggested programs for me to lose weight 😆

APP DOES NOT WORK AT ALL

I wish I could write an actual review. Sadly, I can’t. Not a single time that I’ve tried to log in have I EVER gotten the app to work. So I honestly don’t have a clue about how it works, if it does, etc. because from my experience thus far, it doesn’t even fully boot and log me in. Gets stuck. I’ve had the app installed for several months now and not once has it worked.

1. I click on the app to open it.
2. I get a screen asking for the 4-digit pin I created earlier.
3. I type that in. It automatically advances me to whatever is supposed to come next after typing in the 4th digit.
4. Then I get a totally white screen with a blue “spinning circle” type icon/button in the center. Like it’s thinking and trying to do something but is stuck and can’t. Seriously, it’s similar to the “blue screen of death” for older tech users to compare to lol.

The first couple times this happened I just rolled my eyes and force quit the app. Didn’t have time to dink around. But attempt #3,4,5 and 6 I had plenty of time. I logged in per same as above, got the white screen. Set my phone on the tray in front of me on my cross trainer, started and completed a quick 20 minute session. Not once did those circles stop, change, disappear and not once did the app screen load for me. So, yup.

And this is required by my health plan if I want rewards (who doesn’t!!!)

C’mon guys. It can’t be that hard.

Apple needs to let us do 0 or negative stars. 🤬

I just updated the app (again) but cannot enjoy the new features because it never loads. It’s maddening because I can’t do my tracking for the habits I’m trying to build with the challenges you can do. So the only time I can access this wellness is through the website. And that’d be fine…ish, but the Regence app pushes me to this app, not the site. Nice in theory, terrible in practice.

Even worse? They’ve turned off the reporting feature through the Apple App Store. So short of writing a review, there’s no way to get a fix.

And because I’m not seeing developer responses, I’m assuming reviews aren’t reviewed. At least not by OnLife. Regence should pick another vendor.
