Description
Teach your children about their relatives using pictures and stories that you create.
How many times have you wanted to show someone a family picture and you find your self scrolling through thousands of images on your phone?
Relations, a Family Photo Cube, solves that problem by creating a photo cube of your family based on family relations.
But, its much more than a simple photo cube with 6 sides. It’s a virtual cube with an infinite number of sides. Each side contains a picture, a story, and a slide show for that person.
Entering family relations is a simple as can be. Enter the parent-child relation and Relations, computes all of the other relationships, from grandparent do 5th cousin twice removed.
Relations uses your Apple Photo Library to hold your pictures. You can use any picture in your library in Relations and it won’t take up any extra space on your iDevice. It also means no need to do a special backup for Relations, your pictures always remain safe in your Photo Library. (but relations does have standalone backup capabilities if you want)
Relations has some special features designed to help you share your family photos. It imports GEDCOM files, and exports family data and pictures. Relations can scan your photo library for pictures with faces that might make a good picture for the cube.

Ratings and Reviews
Easy, Fun, and Facinating
This app is perfect for showing my toddler her family on the other coast. It will also be handy the next time I need to prep my spouse for a family reunion. I added everyone in with no trouble and now I can let my kid look at pictures of her cousins without worrying they will be deleted or shared. Plus it even includes pet photos!
Handy and unique
This is a fun solution to organizing family photos. It’s especially useful for large extended families. Would be a good present for Father’s Day or Mother’s Day.
Frustrating
This app looks interesting and useful. The demo shows what it is supposed to do. After purchasing modules, it does not work. I did not buy a monthly or yearly subscription, but the individual one-time purchases of feature modules. It will not load GED files. It seems buggy or incomplete. It is disappointing that Apple allows faulty apps to stay on their App Store.
Developer Response ,
GEDCOM files have been tested with this program. If you could contact me directly I would like to work with you to find out why your files have failed to import. You may reach me at rgood@hannibalstudios.com.
