Remodex lets you use Codex on your Mac from your iPhone.
Start Codex on your Mac, open Remodex on your phone, and pair once with a QR code. After that, your iPhone connects to your Mac through a secure paired session, so you can keep working with Codex even when you are away from your desk.
With Remodex, you can:
• chat with Codex from your phone while the runtime stays on your Mac
• follow live replies and active runs in real time
• send follow-up prompts without losing your place
• use git actions like commit, push, pull, and branch switching

Nice start but a bit buggy and missing multi device support

Really appreciate having this as an option. However scrolling is buggy and jumps while trying to scroll. Also would like multi device support (iPhone and iPad). And support for native iPad app and not an iPhone render.

Can't even try the app to see if it works without paying. Not even a free trial. No thanks. Delete.I don't care that there is an open source version that I can jump through a bunch of hoops to try. To set that up takes time and effort when I just want to try your app. Why should I do the work when you can just enable a free trial?Stop listening to whatever influencers you are following on X telling you that the way to riches is with a hard paywall and no free trial. Maybe that works with a bunch of random TikTokers, but your audience is developers and we know how this stuff works and a hard paywall is insulting and unfriendly. Especially with many other options out there, it's just bad business.

The app is perfect. Zero friction whatsoever. I just type the caffeinate command in terminal before I leave home, and can continue working from my iPhone wherever I am. The fact that I can switch chats and create new ones right from the app is amazing.
