I tried contacting the developer through their website but that doesn't work either, so I'm going to publicly post this issue.I purchased your Remote for Roku app, a couple days ago and I'm having an issue with the "Cast Video" feature. It doesn't work, I select a video file to play, the app stalls while loading the video and fails every time. I tried from 4k to 360p videos and got the same result.

I’m so glad I found this. It looked a little sketchy at first but it turns out to be great. It connected right away, I literally had to do nothing! I’m not sure why it has some bad reviews but it literally saved my life, because I lost my orginal remote so then I used my phone as the remote but I just recently lost my phone so I found this for my MacBook and I’m so freaking happy and glad it was not trouble shooting needed.

I did read the reviews, but I thought the references to not having volume control were about the tv. I don’t have a phone, so I can’t use the app that allows me to listen w/ my headphones. I hate that I can’t use the remote like I used to. I had hoped to use this like I would have a phone. Alas…this will at least be useful when I can’t find my remote, but otherwise…bought for nothing. Wanted to save anyone else like me who needed that written out.

First of all, THANK YOU! This app actually works well. I’ve got a MacBook Pro running High Sierra OS and 2 different Roku’s in my home. The app controls both excellently. I also tested out the Cast Video funtion as well with an .Mp4 movie and it worked great. Would have give this app a 5-star rating if you could use some sort of keyboard function when doing searches. If that feature was there, this would be truly amazing. But it functions well. Great job.
