2nd way, using an extension:
1. Open the Instagram app
2. Select the post you want to repost
3. Click the «Share» button
4. Select the «Repo» extension
Subscription pricing and terms
The subscription will automatically renew unless turned off in your iTunes Account Settings at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can go to your iTunes Account settings to manage your subscription and turn off auto-renew. Your iTunes Account will be charged when the purchase is confirmed. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.

I would just like to use this app extension to save Instagram photos without intent of reposting them.
Currently I share to the repost extension, choose feature to not tag with Instagram name, then press repost, then press cancel.
Would rather a just “save image” option.

Hello, CHEEEECH! You can disable the automatic opening of the Instagram app when reposting. You can do this in the app settings.

It works!
I downloaded three different repost apps before I found this one. I was able to copy the url of the video I wanted, paste it into this app, and repost on my feed. Simple to use. Thank you!!

Adds developers tag
Update: 7 months later STILL no option to turn off developer tag despite purchasing this app.
I purchased this app a while back. It now adds the developers tag to copied text with no way to disable and my app does not have any 'restore purchases' option. At least a year later and has not been fixed.

Hello, KingSkyLoud! The ability to disable the addition of the developer's hashtag was added a long time ago. Just open the app settings and turn off this setting.
