The Leftovers Foundation (Leftovers) is one of Western Canada's largest food rescue charities with a dual mission of environmental protection and hunger relief. We work with local restaurants, bakeries and grocers in Calgary and Edmonton to ensure edible food is kept out of the landfill by redirecting it to service agencies and into the hands of those who need it most. Using this app, volunteers are able to sign up to join Leftovers, sign up for available routes, keep track of their upcoming routes, view a map guiding them to the pick up and drop off locations, and submit route information upon completion. The app also calculates a score based on how much volunteering each user has done, allowing you to compete with friends as you help your community!
