Improved support for Universal Links

ResearchHub has been updated for compatibility with latest operating system requirements, adds support for StateHouseNews universal links, and resolves several site rendering issues.

The development team made a number of upgrades to the platform and plugins used for the in-app browser to improve supportability and reliability. The release also resolves issues with custom page links to app stores, and fixes support for Lexis Nexis Newsdesk universal links.

Fixed an issue that was forcing some iPhone users to re-register their Research Hub app after upgrading to the latest version. Updated ResearchHub’s built-in browser to fix compatibility issues with recent iOS updates which were causing “Load Error” messages for some resources. We’ve also tweaked the styling of the main menu and improved the menu navigation to reduce issues caused by overly sensitive touch-based gestures causing users to inadvertently open links to resources.

Added support for opening Bloomberg Convergence and Lexis Newsdesk links from e-mails. Fixed issue where app froze with large number of resources. Also, we've done some preparation for on-boarding some new vendor e-mail links which will be announced when our vendor partners are ready.

We've added a "Back" button to reload the previous resource you were using. There's also a few bug fixes including an issue where credential updates in ResearchMonitor weren't sync'd back to ResearchHub. You will be asked to log in again after updating to 3.0.1. Welcome to the fresh new look-and-feel of ResearchHub version 3. This version now works on iPhone and iPad, and combines the features of both versions including the resource search box, the ability to save updates to your login credentials back to ResearchMonitor and the ability to require ResearchHub users have a passcode set It's now quicker to load a resource with single click access from the resource list. Also when you click into a resource from an e-mail, you can now switch back to the mail. Note you may need to log out and log back in again via the menu button to refresh your resource list with this new version. Version 2.0.0 adds support for launching ResearchHub from current awareness service e-mail links. ResearchHub is now automatically launched when clicking on e-mail links from current awareness service vendors Manzama, Ozmosys and Vable. Clicking a link from these providers will launch ResearchHub and automatically browse to the clicked link. If the link requires the user to log into a resource which is password-protected, ResearchHub will automatically log the user in provided this is a resource the user has credentials for in ResearchHub.
