Description

iOS and macOS crash logs are great if they can be symbolicated, but if you don't have the original application or dSYM, then crash logs are frustrating.

ReSymbolicate allows you to rebuild your iOS or macOS application from your source file archives and symbolicate the application -- even if the UUIDs from the crash log and the binary don't match.

Doesn’t work with Bitcode Enabled Binaries

As a techie I tried to contact the developer before writing this review but the support link goes to something else. When I try to use this I get an error that the crash log does not belong to this binary. That isn’t true. It apparently can’t handle crash logs from apps submitted with bitcode enabled. Since most apps will be submitted this way by developers, that makes this app pretty much useless. To be fair, I bought this because even XCode 7 has problems with that.
