Description

RetinAid Tabletop is an accessibility app that helps blind and sight impaired people enjoy the world of board gaming. This is a free tech preview version.

RetinAid Tabletop can identify and sight describe cards from many popular board and card games. Start by adding a supported game into your in-app library using the barcode on the game box. Then simply place the front face of a card around ten centimeters (around four inches) from your phone camera, facing the camera, and the app will describe the card’s functionality in the game for you. RetinAid Tabletop's mission is to make the world of boardgaming accessible to the blind and sight impaired. This is a free tech preview version that is meant to introduce this new technology to gamers. Later versions will include a form of monetization for usage. More info can be found on the website www.retinaid.net, including the list of the currently supported games.
