Reverse: 1999 is a 20th Century Time-Travel Strategic RPG developed by Bluepoch.
On the last day of 1999, the "Storm" fell upon the world. You witnessed an era reversed beneath the rising raindrops. Defying all reasons, what unfolds in front of you is the world of an era long past.
As the Timekeeper, observer of eras, you are free to travel through these eras after each "Storm." With the aid of Sonetto, a powerful Arcanist and ally from the Foundation, your mission is to travel through eras to where the "Storm" is most active, find other Arcanists who can sense the coming "Storm," and save them from being "sifted out" of the timeline.

THERES GAMES THIS GOOD OUT HERE?
to whoever made this game an ad on my fyp for tiktok: i hate you and i love you. i hate you because now i’m gonna play this game forever, and i love you for the same reason. i’ve already spend 3 hours playing and haven’t made it through a dent of the games energy. i could play for so many more hours and not have to spend money, i love you i love you i LOVEEEE YOU! my god. oh my god. the developers?? ATE IT UP AND LEFT THE DINNER TABLE EARLY BECAUSE THERES NO FOOD LEFT!! the art design of each character: insane. there is SO MUCH detail in each design, and there’s SO MANY CHARACTERS. i’m sure we learn then down the line but its funny when you pull for them and they’re just… you’ll know when you play. but the dialogue, the voice actors (i play in japanese dub, it’s so good im cryin). AND THEN THEIR ATTACK? THEIR ULT? u gotta be kiddin me. i just sat here with my mouth agape. ur lying. and i’m the type of person that HATES turn based games, so when i found out how the gameplay was i was gonna delete it but wanted to try it to see how it ran, and wow. y’all changed my mind. i want to thank you! i know i sound crazy but i don’t even write reviews unless a game did that much impact in my opinion. to the creators: you care so much about the game you created and it shows in the way it breaths. i hope you’re all proud of yourself, because you deserve to be.
Alright when and how did I become so addicted?!
I don’t think I’ve ever written a review for anything in the App Store, but this game is just so good it deserves one. I was originally drawn in by the art style in the Instagram ad I saw, and after playing the game, it definitely did not disappoint. I personally think that this is hands down the most beautiful game I’ve ever played. Both the art and the music are incredibly enjoyable — this game is aesthetically pleasing in ever way. Sometimes, when my game is in its cooldown period, I’ll just leave it open to have the music play in the background. I will admit that it did take a bit of time for me to understand the gameplay and mechanics, but once I went through the tutorials and played a little, I was able to pick it up easily. Now, I am truly addicted and invested.
Also, I’ve been loosely following along with the dev announcements on Twitter, and it really seems like they are constantly listening to feedback and releasing fixes as quickly as they can. It’s only been about a week since the game’s release, but I hope I can continue to enjoy this game for a long time!
