REVO Ultra 4+

We like the system itself, it gives us great peace of mind for home security.. but gotta dock stars because the app has struggled to open for months and is getting worse over time. We went from having zero issues with the app for years to having regular issues with the app over the last 6-8 months. The issues started if you minimized the app, it’d just close and bug out if you tried to reopen it immediately, but getting it to reopen only took a few attempts so it was manageable. Now? You’re lucky if the app opens at all. Pretty much useless in its current state

I just noticed they updated the app.. and it brought it a lot closer to 2018.. I could not understand why it was so difficult to use and not user friendly at all.. the cameras and the system have always been great and reliable but the app and interface for the nvr left a lot to be desired.. this is a huge step in the right direction.. please continue to support this product.. I would feel a lot better about upgrading my cameras if the app and nvr were to continue being supported with updates like this..

The point of remote viewing to charge a premium price point over Samsung and other spec comparable companies is the claim that revo ultra is a superior system including remote viewing. Unfortunately after hours of support conversations and checking forums. The revo ultra app clearly is flawed as it crashes when you have more than 9 cameras attached. When I have 24 it poses a problem then I cannot remotely monitor my store as the claim of revo stated. It’s 100% the app as the system it self works fine. This leads me to realize they are gals advertisers and I should have gone with a tech company that specialized in software and video vs a company that just brands their label on things and pretends to know why they are talking about. Waste of money
