Description
"Rewinder is a Safari extension that lets you go back in time and see how websites looked in the past."
Okay, but that’s just marketing-speak. Rewinder is actually a front-end for the Wayback Machine API. It uses a timeline-based design that allows you to smoothly navigate through different snapshots of a website's history. Simply scroll through the page to view past versions of a site, and tap the "Go" button to quickly access specific points in time.
You’re probably already familiar with Wayback Machine, so I won’t repeat its benefits here. But keep in mind that archive.org is VERY SLOW, so refresh the page if snapshots take too long (say, longer than 1 minute) to load. And avoid opening multiple archive.org pages too quickly, or you may encounter the "429 Too Many Requests" error.
Rewinder is a universal purchase, so you only need to buy it once to use it on all your Apple devices. I hope you find it useful.

Ratings and Reviews
I actually enjoy navigating Wayback Machine now!
Stumbled on this little gem earlier and my curiosity got the best of me, so I decided to make a purchase. It's one of those apps you didn't know you needed, but when you realize its potential and usage, it becomes an indispensable tool.
It’s a Safari extension used for displaying past versions of a website in a timeline-style design that is easy to navigate and aesthetically pleasing to view. If you’re already familiar with Wayback Machine, then you know the interface can be a bit confusing and not that user-friendly. This app uses the Wayback Machine API to show all the pages in a neatly organized stack where you can quickly flip through and see all the changes. So simple and incredibly convenient! 🤗
One thing to keep in mind is that Wayback Machine (archive.org) can be quite slow. However, the developer has addressed this issue and suggests that you refresh the page if the snapshots take too long to load. Despite this minor inconvenience, the app is a one-time universal purchase that makes it well worth the small investment.
P.S. This review would have been 5 stars, but it seems like the app hasn't been updated in a while, so I'm not sure if it's still being maintained or abandoned by the developer.
