Rogue with the Dead is an original roguelike RPG where you command and power up troops on an endless, looping journey.

◆Defeat the Demon Lord
Your mission is to lead an envoy of soldiers for 300 miles, in order to defeat the Demon Lord at the end.
Completing quests and killing monsters will earn you coins that you can use to make your troops stronger.
They fight automatically, and you can choose to either wait and watch them have at it or join the battle yourself.

Soldiers respawn after they’re killed, but you don’t. You’ll lose all soldiers, money, and items, except for artifacts, and you’ll have to start over.

To stand a chance against the powerful bosses impeding your progress, you’ll need to collect as many artifacts as you can. Defeating them, in turn, will grant you more artifacts.

Swordsman
A basic warrior unit with high health who fights on the front line to protect other soldiers.

Ranger
An archer that can attack from afar. However, it is slower and has less health than warriors.

Pigmy
A tiny warrior with low health and weak attack, but very fast movement. It can quickly sneak close to enemies to attack them directly.

Sorcerer
A magician that deals high damage to enemies within an area. However, it is slow and rather fragile.

◆If you’re tired, just idle
If you want to take a break, just close the game. Quests will still continue even while you’re not playing the game. When you come back, you’ll have more coins to power up your soldiers and defeat that boss that has been giving you trouble.
You can play for a few minutes at a time, so it’s perfect to fill in those little pockets of time throughout the day.

Decently addicting game with great music

I rarely write reviews, play mobile games and almost never enjoy rebirth mechanics, but this game manages to encapsulate me and handle rebirth in the best way I’ve ever seen, though that might be because I try to avoid mobile games. Instead of inching towards a slightly larger amount of progress that for a single unit more, you rebirth to get gems, which you can spend on various things. This game handles itself well in that you get a good amount of gems when you “rebirth” instead of a pittance, and the stuff you spend it on is actually very useful. The bonuses from artifacts are also generally pretty big consistently, so instead of getting a +50% attack for one artifact and just a +3 for the same one afterwards, you get a consistent plus 50 (most of the time). Also, I’ve never seen an idle game ost go so hard, it makes it so much more replay able. Add to the fact that ads are mostly optional, and you never see them unless you do it for a reward, and you have an overall great game. Kudos to the devs, my best regards to them.

Percentage of Character

This is a good game I can definitely say that. But one thing that make me so mad is the percentage of the divine character. Ik that you can increase it as the game go on with artifacts but why can’t you just make fixed percentage that won’t increase the likelihood of dropping because of the amount of character. I made the mistake of buying, Pygmy and Villager and now my percentage of getting divine character went down by like 4% percent. From 6+% to 2+% it decrease my chance of dropping a divine character by 3 times. Pls update or do something about it. I really want to cry right now, my account is literally ruined forever and there’s nothing I can do about it but to ask you to do something. Or maybe add a function where you can unowned a character using, idk 5k rubies. I promised everyone will appreciate this options so pls consider it.

One of the best idle games.

While it took me a long time to find this game, I feel it is well worth the wait.
The game is quite fun for idle games, simple mechanics that are easy to understand, no bogged down extras, and is perfectly fair when it comes to micro-transactions (not too many, not too powerful, priced mostly fairly).

The reason I think it’s one of the best idle games is due to the fact that the game isn’t like other idle games. The outside waiting, where you’ll have to wait to get any resources at all to only wait even longer to use those resources is gone.
I’ve played since March and by now each reset is about 5-10 minutes depending on the mode. A perfectly reasonable amount of time to play and then come back to later.
