Description

This App was developed to explore the statistics of rolling one die or two dice. When the number of rolls is low, it appears that not all numbers occur at the same rate. But remember, this is a statistical process. As you roll the die more times, the relative difference between the different numbers decrease, and the probabiliy of seeing a particular number approaches 1/6. When you roll two dice, the sum of the numbers of die 1 and die 2, which varies between 2 and 12, is not evenly distributed. In this case, the distribution is dominated by the number of ways in which you can roll a specific sum. What is the most likely sum you expect to see? Try it out to see if you are correct. This App was inspired by an App developed by S. Yamacli in Beginner's Guide to iOS 14.
