RollCall is a social app that turns group chats into daily challenges for you and your friends. Share pics and keep the streak alive… or face a punishment.

Here’s how it works:

Every day, your group gets a new challenge. Everyone must submit a photo before the deadline.
If you don’t submit, or your submission gets voted down by your group…
You’re up for punishment.

Punishments are submitted by the group. They can be dumb, funny, or brutal. “Get a Buzz Cut.” “Post an embarrassing video on your story.” “Shave off one eyebrow” You get the idea...

The game keeps going every day, one challenge at a time. The longer your group stays consistent, the longer your streak lives.
The moment someone slips? The streak resets, someone gets punished, and the cycle continues.

The goal? Keep your streak alive.
But also? Laugh, roast your mates, and stay in touch in the dumbest, most memorable way possible.

How it works:
- One challenge per group, per day
- Everyone submits a photo of themselves doing it
- Friends vote on favourites and flag low-effort submissions
- No submission = punishment
- Bad submission = punishment
- Group streak resets = everyone loses

What’s New in 1.0.8:

Lockout System:
• Users who miss challenges or ignore punishments are now locked out of the feed. A full-screen lockout page appears when you're locked out, preventing you from accessing the app until you submit your punishment.
• Users who are locked out will appear as locked out on daily challenges, and wont contribute to the group (can't break the streak) until they submit their punishment.

UI/UX Improvements

• Feed Performance & Refresh Upgrades.
• Refreshed group and punishment views with updated UI colours and padding.
• Polished punishment feed cards with better styling and messaging.
• Improved streak display, skeleton loaders, and “Upload Complete” transitions.
• Scrollbars are now hidden on the feed for a cleaner look
• Adjusted spacing and padding throughout the app
• Upload preview now shows smooth blurred placeholders
• "Friends" label now shows inline for friend groups
• Reduced white space between challenge dates

Bug Fixes

• Cache now properly clears on logout
• Fixed countdown timers not cleaning up correctly
• Improved handling of locked-out users and overlay logic
• More caching/loading optimisations.
• Friend requests states now correctly show on public profiles
