room.resonator: mix music knowing how your room resonates

room.resonator is a simple tool that assists with finding the resonances in a room, for music mixing purposes. It functions as an interactive replacement for low-frequency sine tone audio files.

Where low-frequency sine tone audio files require the use of a lookup table in order to determine the resonance of a room, room.resonator gives you all the information about a given wave, including note value (plus cents), frequency, and MIDI value. Furthermore, room.resonator allows you to work at your own pace instead of the pace of an audio file. Furthermore, room.resonator gives more precision than most low-frequency sine tone audio files, with the ability to tweak pitches even at the sub-cent level. If you need to know the resonances in a room, you need room.resonator.

Nope. It’s not.

It’s a single note sign wave tone generator with a frequency slider. That’s it. It isn’t possible to discover anything about the frequency response of a room with this app. Or do anything else, actually.
