I have tried Duolingo like 5 times and deleted it, i learned spanish in school and wanted to use this to learn French too. It is quite simple and it provides a fun and rewarding challengeupdate- it has been just about a year or so and i still love this app, it has so many resources in it and i don't just feel like i am learning but i am confident that I actually am. ( and enough to speak well )

  • Great Immersion App

I love that Rosetta Stone offers 25 languages that you can immerse yourself into which is the best way to learn. I appreciate that you can practice the right pronunciation. They even offer a free practice level which gives you an opportunity to see if you like it. One of the best offers is they have. One-time fee. You don’t have to purchase a yearly plan. You can’t get a better deal than that. I recommend to anyone wanting to learn a new language. Great app!

  • Better than Duolingo, but glitchy makes it not worth the paid membership.

Great app, but in the new iOS system, the microphone seems to not always send a signal to the app, or it sends it permanently so in anything but silent backgrounds the microphone keeps running long after getting the statement and judges the accuracy on extra sound.Sometimes when swiping to the next screen, it sticks. A button might be more helpful if there are sensitivity issues, or a green side to let me know I can progress.

Duolingo is fun but you will end up in a foreign country where you can’t speak the language. Rosetta Stone helps you to learn as you would while being in a foreign country and you grow quickly. The lessons take around 10 minutes, so that’s more concentrated and focused than the approach Duolingo has. This is how you learn a language. I only wish I had this resource when I was younger and attempting to learn languages.

  • So far, so good.

I just started using the app, but I am feeling hopeful about it so far! The user face is friendly and functional. I appreciate the different teaching methods and feel that it is reinforcing the basics. Giving it 4/5 just because I haven’t gotten to the advanced lessons (I just started using it today, as I mentioned) but I already feel it’s a step ahead of another popular language learning app; that one felt like I was constantly going in circles with very little progress!

  • Better than most!

I been struggling to learn Japanese for a few years now, and I wanted to pick up on it again since I have an upcoming Japan trip. This app, along with others, helped me get back into learning Japanese! I came into this able to know a couple of phrases and I came out of it knowing about 20. I like how it shows pictures, too! It helps me understand better.Sorry for the short review! Great app!
