Roterra Extreme – Great Escape ٤+

This follows on the beautiful art and game play of the first Roterra. The music also is a great addition to this version. The similarities end there in this challenging sequel. These are more difficult and it took me a lot longer than 3 hrs to finish all the levels. I see some can call it frustrating but when I was perplexed I just left and came back with a clear head to try again. If you get stuck come back and try again. I would never have wanted to miss out on the puzzle levels in the second half.

This is great if you want some amazing logic puzzles and for the price quite a deal. I use it as an escape and it feels great when you solve them.

I hope they make more like the original and the more extreme version.

I really loved the 1st Roterra and craved more, so I bought the 2nd “Extreme” and WOW! It is such a great game! The puzzles are definitely more challenging (more complicated and longer) with the same creative fun graphics and story line (now we follow the princess’s brother who has stolen the crown and is running away). I am having a great time with this and get a sense of accomplishment each time I figure out an impossible looking puzzle (but they’re really not impossible- they just look crazy when you start and little by little you work it out.) I think my IQ’s going to jump 10 points by the time I finish all the levels! So FUN! Keep up the great work, can’t wait for more from these amazing developers!!!

I loooved Roterra, and so downloaded Roterra Extreme. It definitely is challenging, much more so than the first game, sometimes too much so, where it isn’t as fun anymore. “Extreme” is a pretty accurate description. Some of the levels seem very long too. I really got stuck on level 5, and had to look at the walkthrough to figure out where I went wrong. Now I am on level 6, was doing ok but suddenly am stuck again! After my last save point I have hit a dead end but there are no hints or walkthroughs for this level. Also, I was having trouble with the game shutting down sometimes, and I’d have to redo sections.

Editing: I was able to figure out all the remaining levels by myself! And most of the glitches seem to be fixed. I added another star because overall it was pretty good.

Thank you for purchasing Roterra Extreme - Great Escape. While this does follow on the mechanics of our original Roterra this is the "Extreme" challenging version as you described. There are plans for another version that is more similar to the original but many requested more and more challenges.

We want you to enjoy the lands of Roterra and solve these so you see the full breadth of the puzzle designs in the game and be enlightened by them. As you noted we have posted some hints and walkthrough on Youtube and will post some more today. Sometimes it just takes an "Aha" moment from watching someone else play it and then you are moving along swimmingly. We hope this will help you get all the way through the game because we love level 10 :-)

We are not aware of any issues with the game shutting down and would like to better understand how that is affecting you. Can you reach out to us at info@dig-itgames.com so we can get more details on your device. Also for some reason your device shuts down which may not be in our control we are not sure you should always be returned to your last save point. Some redo is possible but it should not be a lot depending on your last position and the puzzle itself.
