Rounds no longer uses any advertising or tracking SDK. Install measurement now runs entirely through Apple's own SKAdNetwork, which reports in aggregate and identifies nobody, so nothing about your account or your device is shared with an advertising company. The app also stopped collecting your city, region and mobile carrier, which it never needed.

You can now invite your classmates. There is an Invite button under the leaderboard podium and on the Friends screen, and it sends a link to your own Rounds page, so whoever receives it sees who sent it before they install anything. The medals on Top Students are the same ones the podium uses, all three the same size, and they no longer flicker while you scroll.

Rounds now carries its clinical disclaimer in the app, under Preferences, rather than only on the website: this is exam preparation, not clinical guidance, and on a call you follow your protocols and your training. Deleting your account now tells you if it failed instead of signing you out and letting you think it worked.

VoiceOver now names every control in the app. Buttons that were announced as unlabelled - closing a quiz, dismissing the upgrade screen, the back arrow, the notification switches - are read out properly and work as expected.

Your sign-in is now kept in the iPhone's encrypted Keychain rather than in ordinary app storage. You will stay signed in and there is nothing to do on your end.

Behind-the-scenes improvements to keep the app running smoothly.

A cleaner review screen. After each question you now get the question and its answers on one card and the explanations on another, with more room to read and fewer boxes in the way. Text now follows your phone's text size setting properly. Answer choices and explanations used to stay fixed while the question grew, so the screen looked lopsided if you had larger text turned on. Tutor Mode is on by default wherever you start a quiz, so the explanation comes right after each question. You can still switch it off before you start. Starting a quiz from your history works again when you are low on questions, instead of showing an error. Big reliability work for studying on a weak connection. Finishing a quiz on poor wifi used to sit on a spinner for minutes; it now gives up quickly and tells you if anything did not save. The opening screen no longer hangs waiting for a connection that is not answering. If you subscribe, the app remembers it, so a bad signal cannot lock you out of what you paid for. And a saved quiz that could not be reopened will now simply start fresh instead of getting stuck. A faster, smoother opening animation, and the save and report buttons now sit in the same place on every screen.

A redesigned upgrade screen, and a clearer free tier. - Tutor Mode now explains on the quiz screen itself. Your options turn green and red where they are, and the reasons appear underneath, instead of a pop-up opening over them. - "Organize the order" questions mark every step by where you placed it, then show you the correct order. - In Tutor Mode you can save a question for later the moment you answer it, without leaving the quiz. - Your progress now shows on every topic on the Study tab, so you can see how far through each one you are at a glance. - Rounds Pro is easier to find: the upgrade card is on Home as well as Profile. - Missed Questions, Focus On and the Custom Quiz Builder are Rounds Pro features. Tutor Mode stays free for everyone. - Sharper app icon, and no more white flash when the app opens.
