Ratings and Reviews
Normal braking keeps recording as event.
When leaving my home, I must travel on a 4 lane divided road with numerous stop lites. The speed limit is 45 MPH. When the lite turns yellow, I stop instead of running the lite. Invariably, your app shows an excessive braking event. Virtually all of my events occur on this same stretch of road and involves stopping for a lite that has turned yellow while I am stopping rather than running the lite. You need to re-evaluate your program calibration.
You also need to add golf carts to your options as I ride mine almost daily, and have to select OTHER to accurately show my trips.

Thanks for all this feedback! We will take it into consideration as we are always looking to improve the app.
Not impressed
Today was my first day with the app and I have already run into numerous issues. I drove about 96 miles on my first trip and didn’t go over 60 mph the whole drive. When checking my trip summary I found that the app had recorded me going 103 mph. Seeing this, I’m having a hard time believing that this app can accurately measure my speed. On top of the inaccuracy of the speed, it also seems to think that every time I stop at a light I am getting knocked for “suddenly breaking”. Another thing I have noticed is that my battery is dropping rather fast. I haven’t been using my phone (because I have been driving) and my battery percentage has dropped 50%. If this thing is going to be eating up my batter while running in the background I’ll either have to get a new phone or just drop this service in general. I plan on using this for the rest of the week to see if things change, but if this keeps up it might just be worth paying more for my car insurance.
*Update:
I have been using the app now for about 3 weeks and my opinion has not changed. I have been given a bad driving score for the time of day that I am driving, which I think is ridiculous. I can’t adjust my work schedule to cater to the app. There is also a incorrectly marked speed limit on my commute to work so I get marked as speeding on almost every trip. I am also still finding that I am somehow traveling 20-40mph over the speed limit when I haven’t gone more that 5mph over my entire trip.
Inaccurate! I hate this app!
I only got this app for my insurance discount. But there is just so much wrong with this app and I hate it. First of all, there’s no way this uses updated maps within the last 5 years, or maybe even 10. It constantly tells me I’m speeding when I’m not. The highway I travel on every time I drive has a speed limit of 65 and has been that way for years. The app says the speed limit is 55. This is just one example because there are several other roads with inaccurate speed limits too so it shows you’re speeding when you’re not. The distracted driving feature is also crap. It doesn’t take into account that someone else may be using your phone, so you have to change your trip to passenger. I even get distracted driving when I get a text but don’t even touch my phone. Had my phone in my purse the other day and still got several distracted drivings just because texts, calls, emails or other notifications came through and I never touched my phone or even saw them. It tells me I’m distracted if I change my music at a red light, or when I use my phone to text when I’m in the drive thru waiting. And finally, battery power. The app claims it won’t hurt your battery, but that’s a lie. Since I’ve had this app, my phone dies about 5 hours faster than it did. All in all I’m not sure if it’s worth a discount, and it better not increase my rates with how horrible the app is.
