Selecting a short test recording on the right side of the window causes the app to crash immediately on my MacBook Pro. The SD card is SanDisk Extreme Plus. The Rove recordings play well on my iPad with the standard MacOS Quick Look and with VLC. The SD card is in an adapter that is in read-only mode.

This app has many problems. It seems like it was thrown together in a few minutes with no effort. When I open a video, the stop or play button is light, almost invisible, unlike the fast forward and back buttons, which are very visible. If you quit the app and open it, the videos you previously loaded are still listed, but you cannot play them. If you open the same video again, you get multiple listings. There is a trash icon but again, it’s almost invisible. and if I select one video and click the trash icon, it deletes ALL the videos. That is really poor user interface design.The GPS data in the videos appears to be encrypted. And there is no way to export a GPX file so you can use the GPS data in other apps or websites, like Mapillary. Why? Makes no sense.

This version is •ten times smaller• than the one previously available (downloadable from Facebook). And, it’s also equipped with arm64 binaries… to run natively on Apple Silicon Macs. Some instructions under the Help menu would be nice.
