Apple Watch monitors you. RscMe alerts your family.
Apple Watch's built-in alerts notify only you. RscMe sends a real SMS — to up to 5 emergency contacts you choose — with your name, current heart rate, and a GPS link. No Medical ID. No 911 call. Just a text to the right people, at the right moment.

Key Features
• Continuous Heart Rate Monitoring
Open RscMe on your Apple Watch and tap Start. From that moment, Apple Watch monitors your heart rate continuously — even while your screen is off. When something looks wrong, RscMe triggers automatically.
• Emergency SMS to Your Family
Real text messages with your name, heart rate, and GPS location — sent to any phone, no app needed. Up to 5 emergency contacts. Each alert uses 1 credit per contact.
• Fully Automatic — No Buttons
Works even if you can't react. No apps to open, no buttons to press. Wear your Apple Watch as you normally would.
• Private by Design
Your health data is never stored. Everything stays on your device and is used only for alerts.

Who is RscMe for?
• For Your Parents — Set it up in 10 minutes. They wear Apple Watch as usual — no new habits. If their heart rate becomes dangerous, you get a text with their location. Even if they can't call for help.
• For Heart Conditions — Set your personal thresholds. RscMe monitors continuously and alerts the people who matter, with a 30-minute cooldown to prevent repeat messages during the same episode.
• For People Often Alone — Working out, hiking, or living solo. RscMe keeps your contacts informed even when you can't reach your phone.

Simple pricing, no subscription.
SMS alerts require Alert Credits, purchased inside the app: $2.99 for 20 credits, or $6.99 for 50 credits. Credits never expire. Each alert uses 1 credit per contact. You only pay when an alert fires.

I have had my phone unlocked and the app at the ready for over a week, and in that time the app has updated my HR reading twice total. There is no way it would ever alert someone in time if there was a problem. Wish I hadn’t bought the credits already. Good concept, very flawed execution.
Developer Response
Hi, thanks for sharing your experience — and sorry this was frustrating. On iOS, apps have very strict limits on background heart-rate updates, even if the phone is unlocked. This can sometimes result in delayed or infrequent readings, which unfortunately affects alert timing. This is an iOS limitation we don’t fully control, not something the app intentionally does.Thank you for trying RscMe and for your honest feedback.
Doesn’t send alerts

I have a pacemaker and defibrillator which stays 50 at bottom and 100 at top. This would have been great but my emergency contacts don’t get notified but maybe 1 out of every 50 occurrences.
Developer Response
Hi,thank you for your feedback — and I’m sorry for your experience. What you’re describing can happen due to recent changes in how iOS handles background access to health data. In some cases, alerts may not trigger reliably unless the app is actively opened. We’re fully aware of this limitation and are currently working on a new version of the app that uses a different technical approach to improve automatic alert reliability.— Jan, RscMe Team
Deceptive in-app purchase system
LDMartin1959
The “Add emergency contact” DOESN’T MENTION that this is a “optional” feature FOR WHICH YOU WILL BE CHARGED until AFTER the charge is processed. This might be a great app, but in my book THUS CONSTITUTES FRAUD. And the developers protestations the side, the fact is that if you tap the “Add emergency contact” link, Even accidentally, you are immediately charged with no dialogue screen coming up to alert you and give you the option to cancel out of it.And don’t presume that the app is functional in a limited mode without the purchase. IT ISN’T. The sole purpose of having this app is to notify someone when there’s an issue with your heart rate and IT ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT DO THAT INLESS YOU MAKE THE IN-APP PURCHASE!!
Developer Response
Hi LDMartin, sorry but our app is not a fraud. In a free version you receive only local notifications in case of emergency. If you want to unlock the full potential of our app (text messaging to your emergency contacts), then you have to pay a small amount (in-app purchase). This is clearly stated in the app before you make a purchase. There is a dialog window where you have to approve the purchase or you can cancel it. It is not true you are immediately charged.December 2020 update: we just released a new version. You might want to give it a try as it has been completely rebuilt. Hopefully the app store description also present the app feature in a clear way.Best regardsJan from RscMe
Excellent App

I have blood pressure issues, I have a heart artery that is moderately fatty so my blood pressure is really hard to keep up even with medication sometimes in the morning or even in the afternoon when I take a nap, my heartbeat drops below what I set the application for and my daughter is my first emergency contact and she right away texts me asking me if I’m alright and the purpose is, if I don't respond to her, she’ll call the cops to get into my apartment. I got this app because I always have thought that my heart is my weakest point and I wouldn’t like someone to find me dead days or even weeks later when my body is already decomposing.
