Decent gameplay held down by monetization

The game itself is fun and there is a lot to do. They are pretty generous with rewards and you can keep playing for along time. I don’t watching the ads and the prices if you want to buy something are reasonable.

Here is the main issue. They put so many packages, and perks and season pass and level up rewards and on and on and on that you can buy. They just shove it down your throat so much so you can barley see you characters fighting in the level. I can get they want you to buy stuff but confine it to the shop or something because the amount of stuff to purchase is insane. It also takes away from the experience having to make sure you aren’t accidentally pressing the buy button on one of the 30 thousand separate packages you can buy. Calm it down with all of that because the base game is great I would actually like to see what I am doing on the main screen though.

Greed incarnate

This game exists for no other reason than to make money for the developers. you can feel it. When you consider launching the game, underneath the prospect of having some fun, you can feel the bitter feeling in the pit of your stomach making you question whether you really want to go there again. I bought the no-ads package, and that works as a no-ads package should: it lets you bypass all ads, whether forced or elective. Good. But even with ads out of the way, and as other reviewers have said, every freaking thing is for sale. They have these ladder things like many games have, where you get basic rewards for free and then you can pay money to get more and fancier rewards from the same mechanism. And in this game they have two levels you can pay for on top of the free level. So I paid for the premium option on one of these ladder things...and guess what: that doesn't include the medium level in between the free level and the premium level. You get to pay for that *in addition* to the premium level. And on and on it goes, the game wanting more of your money at every conceivable turn. I'm kind of enjoying the gameplay, but I'm deleting the game just so I won't spend any more money on it, because spending money basically doesn't get you much at all. As soon as you spend money on some aspect of the game, the game is going to present you with the next level of that aspect of the game, which requires you to spend money on it all over again. I don't think I've ever played such a greedy game, and it is not a pleasant experience. I'm out.
