RustDesk远程桌‪面‬ 4+

I really like this app. The only reason I haven’t fully switched from TeamViewer is that when I remote into my PC, I can’t properly control my virtual machines. While clicking works fine, the keyboard either repeats keys or fails to register them. I hope this issue can be resolved in a future update.

I love rustdesk. I have been using chrome Remote Desktop for years and have been looking for something that is free and doesn’t require me to log into my Google account on every machine (and actually works on Mac because chrome Remote Desktop does not despite what the website claims). This is as close to the Bomgar BeyondTrust system that I use at work as I have seen in a free version of any software.

As a convert from chrome Remote Desktop, getting used to the mouse controls is annoying. 1 finger press and hold then drag for hold left click and move and 2 finger move for scrolling is what I am used to. Having some way to remap those controls would be amazing. But I understand that this is most likely a very difficult or nearly impossible task depending on how the app is built. Also having the remote screen center itself when zooming would be nice.

RustDesk is quite literally the best, most feature rich Remote Desktop software I have ever used. The amount of features and the lightweight nature of this software makes it superior to TeamViewer and AnyDesk. I even got my entire former company to switch to RustDesk from Teamviewer and they have had only good things to say.

The open source nature of this project sold me, but having used this software on all my devices (Windows, Mac, Linux), it works seamlessly and it’s safe to say I will never use another remote desktop software. Developers are doing gods work!
