After downloading Ruya on my iMac (OS 10.14.1) I opened it to play and a screen that looks similar to a blank Polaroid photograph appears in the top center of the game screen, obscuring the view and making it impossible to play. Also, I must force-quit the app if I am to quit it at all. I have tried restarting my Mac as well as deleting and reinstalling Ruya, none of which has helped. I cannot find any support for the game online (clicking on App Support on the app store page simply takes you to the game's web page, which has no support that I can find). Disappointing.

The problem is due to Apple's GameCenter. To fix it go to System Preferences > Internet Accounts. Find the option for GameCenter and log in with your usual iTunes/Apple ID. If you have already logged in, then remove the account and log back in again.
