Description
We have renamed our application from PMPWorker to SAAWorker to more align with out objectives.
The SAAWorker is the mobile application companion to the MSU Sustainable Agriculture Application (SAA) web site. Using the SAA web site, farm and vineyard managers can evaluate pesticide relative-risk to their workers based on handling and the amount of usage of these materials. The use of the pesticides are tracked using tasks created by the managers. Workers can use SAAWorker to view their tasks and to indicate when the task has been completed. The application tracks who completed the task, which material was applied to which field, and, in the case of spraying tasks, where the material was applied, as well as the current weather conditions when the task was started. The application also allows a worker to take and upload a picture of a suspected insect or disease infestation and upload it for review by their manager.
