Sac Food includes all retail food facilities in Sacramento County, California. App shows most recent Environmental Health inspection result long with links to view the most recent food inspection report and the food inspection history.

Search features include nearby food facilities and a search by name of facility. App shows 50 closest facilities in either map or search view.

"Food Facilities" includes restaurants, bars, grocery stores, convenience stores, snack shops, school cafeterias and most other facilities that dispense food to the public. Data is refreshed every day.

Info at fingertips!

Great App for viewing the health inspection info! You can navigate the map and select the facility that you wish to check.

Suggestion to the developer to take the GPS location info and default the map area near to the phone.

Informative safety service

OK....not sure why so many people gave this app so many one star ratings. I can only imagine "they" didn't PASS their inspection. However, the grocery store in my neighborhood appears to have PASSED, despite having birds in the store for years and a Produce department from Hell. This App works Great (none of the issues others complained of) however I do question the quality of work the inspectors are reporting, as clearly violations (per inspection sheet) are happening on a regular basis at that grocery store. Love App, but I will be filing a complaint personally. Highly RECOMMEND you be informed too !!!
