I love this app! I love getting notifications on garbage night! If you’re one of those people who wakes up to the sound of the garbage truck on your street and have that “Oh no!” Sinking feeling in your chest as you race in your slippers and bathrobe to get your cans out, this app is for you! If you never remember whether it’s recycling week or not, and have to sneak down the street to find your neighbors’ cans, this app is for you! If you don’t know how or where to get rid of your odd items and e-waste, it gives you instructions! It’s one of the most useful apps on my phone.

I am able to live with my epilepsy, but have some memory issues. I love this app because it helps me stay on top of my recycling and green waste. Many times the neighbors are asking me which to put down the day/evening before. I’ve shown them this app so those who work out of town and are just getting home can also stay caught up. And if there’s any changes in the truck-day because of weather (we’ve had flooded roads), we get updated.

We moved here in October and I didn’t know which one to put out I actually put them all out each week and it was a surprise when one was taken and the other one wasn’t. I finally figured it out and I also realized the green waste isn’t food scraps like it was when we lived in Redwood City. Oops. Getting the reminder each week is great. And they brought me all brand new cans. The Old ones had roaches and cracks.
