Prepare for unexpected emergencies with wellness check ins from Paws QuiVive! If you’re unable to summon help, we do so for you. We're on the lookout for you & loved ones

“On the Qui Vive” means standing guard, on the alert, a lookout. Paws QuiVive acts as your personalized sentinel—on the lookout for you and your loved one’s safety & wellbeing.

Have you ever asked yourself, “If something happened to me, who would check on me and how long would it take?” Or have you thought, “My friend/relative lives alone and has not replied to my texts and calls; I wish there was an easy way to make sure she/he is okay that isn’t intrusive!”

Simply input your well-check alert preferences & choose an in-case-of-emergency (ICE) contact. Your in-case-of-emergency contact does not need to be a Paws QuiVive user or subscribed to the app.

How It Works
1. We’ll take care of confirmation with your emergency contact.
2. If your in-case-of-emergency contact declines, we’ll let you know and you can select another.
3. Once your in-case-of-emergency contact accepts, your first wellness check-in will arrive at your selected time.
4. If you don’t respond to a check-in alert, we will send you a reminder alert before an emergency notification goes out.
5. Then we’ll notify your emergency contact that you have not responded to your wellness check and they should check on you.
6. After an emergency notification is sent, you will need to confirm your wellness from within the app before your wellness check alerts will resume.

Customize Your Alerts
• Vacation Mode: to pause receiving alerts.
• Notify the Local Police Department (NLPD): add an extra layer of protection. This function requires local police participation with our app; see link at the end of the description for additional details/requirements

Tips for the Best Results
• Choose a time of day for your Well-Check Alert when you will be close to your phone, and the phone is on with volume loud enough for you to hear your incoming alert.
• Think of your Wellness-Check Alerts as akin to any other daily health routine, such as flossing your teeth or a daily shower/bath.

As with any new routine, you may miss a few alerts as you get started. Remember to restart your alerts by:
• Responding to the most recent Paws QuiVive Wellness Check SMS
• Tapping on link
• Clicking on OK or All Clear/Resume Service message inside the app

Then use the menu icon on the home screen to choose your auto-renewing subscription plan; we’ll remind you prior to the end of your Free Plan!
We offer the Standard Plan & an Ad-Free Plan.
1. The Standard Plan may include advertisements when interacting with the app; it is billed half yearly and payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase.
2. The Ad-Free Plan is billed annually and payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase.
Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.
You can turn off the auto-renewal on your iTunes Account Settings, but you cannot cancel the currently active subscription period.
