SaidIt: Voice-Activated Brain Games & Speech Recognition Fun!

Transform your voice into a game controller when you say it with Said It! SaidIt combines speech recognition technology with brain-boosting challenges to make learning, memory training, and breaking filler-word habits addictively fun. Perfect for students, teachers, party games, and cognitive training!

How It Works:
Think It --> Say It --> SaidIt!

Active Recall Learning: Speaking answers out loud (vs. typing or multiple-choice) strengthens memory retention by 30%+ (science-backed!).

Instant Feedback: Say a word correctly? Hear a victory sound! Need practice? Keep trying—no pressure, just progress.

Break Bad Habits: Train yourself to stop saying “like,” “um,” or “literally” with playful, real-time alerts.

Why Speaking Beats Typing for Learning:
* Boosts Long-Term Memory – Vocalizing facts (like state capitals) fires more neural pathways than passive quizzes.
* Sharpens Verbal Fluency – Great for presentation skills & language learners.
* Engages Motor & Auditory Learning – Speaking + hearing reinforces knowledge better than silent study.

Teacher & Student-Friendly Games:

Master the 50 State Capitals

Learn faster by voice: Saying “Montpelier, Vermont” aloud sticks better than flashcards.

Fun facts included (e.g., “Did you know Juneau, AK, is the largest U.S. capital by land?”).

Classroom mode: Challenge students to race against the clock—no writing required!

* Conquer the Periodic Table

Say “Tungsten” instead of typing “W”—verbal recall helps chemistry students avoid test panic.

Group study hack: Teams take turns shouting elements—most correct answers wins!

* Secret Word Challenges

Solo Mode: 30 seconds, 4 clues—perfect for quick brain warm-ups.

Team Mode: “It’s a country… known for pizza… starts with ‘I’!” → When someone yells “Italy!”, SaidIt celebrates!

More Than a Game—A Learning Tool!
* Ideal for classrooms – No pencils needed, just voice participation!
* Homeschool helper – Makes boring memorization fun.
* Speech therapy support – Encourages clear, confident speaking.

Why Everyone Loves SaidIt:
* Science-backed memory boost (active recall > passive quizzes)
* Hilarious for groups – Try custom triggers (“E=MC²” + laser sound!).
* Reduces filler words – Great for podcasters & public speakers.
* Endless replay value – 1000s of words + custom sound effects.

What’s New

Version 1.1.1

New in this release (SaidIt: V1.1.1):
Oops, we had a data-error related to the new Periodic Table of Elements game. It's all fixed up and the scientific-words will load much smoother for you now.

We also made slight modifications to verbiage within the app to make it a bit more user-friendly.

New in the SaidIt V1.1.0 release:
We've introduced two new fun games: Secret Word Elements Game & Secret Word State Capitals Game

We've improved the secret-word solo & team games. Voice Recognition technology struggles to interpret some words when spoken out of context, so we refined the word structure so the system is more responsive when complex words are spoken. For example: 'greenfield' is now 'green field'.

We also refined some verbiage and resolved minor bugs in the application.
