I enjoy using this app because it saves me so much time to shop online. I feel Saks has by far the largest selection over its competitors. The ease of use and return/exchange system is why I docked one star. I spend an average of 10k a month using my preferred shopping app(Nordstrom) and Saks is my second choice. When I do have an occasional problem with the quality or dislike of an item (my preferred shopping app) has made it so simple to return and no hassles. If Saks adapted this business model I believe they it would become the #1 shopping platform available in the US due to their selection.
Didn’t ship on time, horrible customer service
I ordered 3 dresses from Saks for a destination wedding I was attending.
In order to make sure the dresses where delivered on time for my for my trip I payed $35 for express shipping, but even on the day of my trip the dresses did not arrive.
I contacted Saks in order to cancel the order and get a refund since I was clearly not going to wear them to the wedding any more, but they told me I couldn't cancel the order and that I had to wait to receive the package and then return it in order to get my money back.
While I was on my trip I received an email confirming the delivery of the package ONE WEEK AFTER the supposed delivery date. So as soon as I was back in the country I shipped the dresses back. But the only refund I have received in over a month since I shipped the dresses back is the shipping costs.
I sent several emails asking for my money back but I have received no response.
I would not recommend
1. Paying $35 for express shipping since it clearly was not next day shipping (as indicated), but rather nine days.
2. Shopping online at Sacks if you are expecting you order to be delivered on the day that it indicates, since it is not the fist time that my order does not arrive on time.
Shopping online is supposed to make the shopping experience more convenient for clients, I would think that after delivering my order late, customer service could at least answer my emails and give me back my money in a timely manner.
The Shopping Experience
Just a note re the shopping experience. It would be helpful to have ‘details’ or ‘sizing’ reviews under items. For instance, for most shoes I’m an 8 1/2, but for some I’m a 9. I just ordered a pair of Rag and Bone high- tops and was contemplating which size. Luckily, I found them on the Nordstrom site (but in colors I wasn’t interested in). So I was fortunate to read their review that ‘they run small-order 1/2 size up). Came back to your site and just ordered them in a 9 rather than 8 1/2. Also, it would be SO helpful if you would go back to including a return label with purchases. My printer is often on the blink, and it would make things so much easier. I live in Santa Barbara, and since you closed my beloved Saks here, it is not convenient to return in-store down in Los Angeles. Thanks
