This app USED to be slightly useful

But everything that was useful about this app has been ripped out of the app by the roots.

Even the company website has become practically worthless, there used to be a chat function and that is gone. There used to be energy saving features and energy monitoring features and that is completely gone now.

I used to be able to contact somebody on the telephone within 15 minutes and now it takes about six hours and they shuffle you around between departments. We were promised a big update where everything would be improved and nothing has been improved, the website has been reduced to barely manageable, and the app, everything useful about the app is gone.

It is also much more difficult to look at your usage history on a daily basis. It used to show you your monthly usage history on one line now you have to flip back-and-forth. It seems to me that they went back to an old app template after they just recently improved it about a year ago, and now everything is back to worthless like it used to be, just like this company is. They have absolutely no consideration for people who are on fixed incomes, level pay plans are a joke and this new time of use plan, that’s totally worthless

XweAponX- Thank you for your feedback. Viewing the Daily Usage History for a month definitely sounds useful. We'll keep that in mind as we work to continuously improve the app experience.

This app could not BE more frustrating!

First off, this app will not show the entire page so you have to scroll back and forth to enter your information. The process to pay by credit card is lengthy and frustrating— the account number and billing amount have to be entered and if you don’t take note of those things before signing in, you have to go back to your account and then you can’t log back in because there is an “open session” —- AND there is no discernible way to get BACK to the open session to complete it. So you just have to wait for the open session to terminate itself. Tonight I was asked to accept the terms,etc. After scrolling to the seemingly interminable end of the legalities, there was NOTHING to click on to show I approved. Or at least nothing I could see because, again, only half the page shows even on the expanded view and there is no way to scroll over to see the other half! Unless I approved the terms, I couldn’t pay my bill! The fact that I have to pay an additional fee of $1.50 to use this abomination is especially galling. This app has not been updated or improved upon in at least the past year— perhaps not enough people have taken the time to complain. But after trying SIX TIMES to pay my bill tonight, and still coming up empty — I’ve HAD IT. Fix this thing, already! If I could have given less stars than one, believe me, I would have.

Here I sit and wait and wait!

I sit and wait as the dial spins promising a Fabulous update and all I do is sit and wait for the site to NEVER load and now I can’t even pay my bill cause the site won’t load and of course my bill that is going to be huge. It’s always large and SDGE always give some lame reason why my bill is large (even though I don’t use my heater half as much as last month) then SDGE tries to tell me how they can help me with my bill but it never ever does anything as humane as that! All they do is try to convince you that they will help you take care of your bill however they do nothing but make you feel like a deadbeat for stressing about paying the bill. Wouldn’t it be nice if this massive company who charges exorbitant prices for service that is a monopoly would pay the bill for a group of folks each month and pay that groups energy bills it’s not like they can’t afford it. Wouldn’t that be a really great thing to do for a few community’s each month (different communities each month) and alleviate the pressure of high energy bills for a month. Now that would be great P.R.
So how about it SDGE you sure could use a public relation makeover in the American public’s eye. I dare you!
