Update failure

Thanks for the email and instructions. Not sure if I should be upset that the app does not connect with the alarm, or if I should just pretend it is a standard Alexa enabled, really expensive, alarm clock.

I’ll try again if you send out an email when you update the app to fix the bug.

Updated. Installed new app. Followed directions. Factory reset. Unplugged. Forgot device. Uninstalled app. Reinstalled aoo. Bluetooth on phone shows connected. App does not. It took a year for this??? Worked great before update and new app.

I changed the name of my clock to Stupidman. I feel good about that.

I could be disappointed with the delays and missing features. The crashes, the odd behavior and alarm going off every 5 seconds if you used Alexa to Snooze the alarm more than 3 times. But hey, I shouldn’t be Snoozing that much! Instead I find humor in being part of one of the longest consumer product beta test projects in history. It is after all a clock, mankind’s most complex invention ever attempted. I have heard that NASA sent a clock on every one of the Apollo missions to the moon! This product really is the most advanced alarm clock of 2017. Yes, it shipped in 2021 but we got three free years of humorous, the dog ate my homework, production delay stories! Fun filled moments of anticipation wondering “what will the story be next month?” Kinda like getting a free Whitman Sampler box delivered to your home, only without the chocolate…and the box. My favorite feature about the clock and app is the pair of extra function buttons that are not functional. It’s kinda Zen. In a “What is the sound of one hand clapping sort of way”. I press them from time to time just to make sure that they continue to remain nonfunctional. They had better continue to not do anything or I am going to complain to customer support. I do like having the ability to change the color of the numerals.
