Ratings and Reviews
Lots of Potential
This game is fantastic and has a whole lot of potential! I love the monster, sends chills up my spine when I see it. I think the monster should have distinctive sounds, maybe a scream every once in a while, make it so you can kind of locate where it is based on the sound. Also add some footsteps, maybe some kind of mushy sounds(schlsh schlsh) goo? The monster should be more lethal! When it sees you make it scream and throw its arms up and then after a second rush towards you until it hits a wall or another object (able to break barriers). The monster should have health, 7 hits? After it hits the wall it will follow you until it loses your scent (get out of sight) you then need to find different scrap metals to pierce the monster and kill it. Make the hotel floor look more like a hotel, 2 long hallways full of rooms, each room can connect with different types of holes in the walls (damaged walls). Follow through with the wall idea and make it so the monster (when charging at you) can break through walls and then stop. Finally Let the player be able to not only walk, but when holding forward far enough sprint and run out of breath (slender rising) I hope this helps.
Great game.
This game is a spine chilling, wonderful game. the atmosphere, an abandon hotel, is absolutely wonderfully creepy. the occupant himself is kinda slow yet still terrifying especially when your closed to him and you don't have anything to throw. the sound and music is very disturbing which may be the main reason this game is so creepy. I don't know why but the music is just immersive and creepy. I haven't finished the game but so far the objectives for each level have been the perfect amount. looking into how many level there are I am kinda feeling that it is pretty short but for $.99 I don't mind. I'll be honest, I would love if the creators of this game would release more challenges in maybe a basement or some other location. they could maybe release it in a new update or maybe even in a new full game. I'm not saying this is required for me because I'm probably gonna play through the game again using the gyroscope so it's like vr. all in all I really do suggest you download this game. it's really fun and creepy and I don't think you'll regret it.
Gets the adrenaline pumping
For the price it's a great game! When you hear the footsteps of the occupant behind you and the static starts to fill the screen, you start frantically running forward trying to find a way through the maze of an apartment to escape. My only gripe would be that sometimes when looking around the button in the corner for movement sticks and leaves me unable to move for a few seconds. Meanwhile I hear the occupant getting closer. Still, the somewhat shaky controls remind of one of the most common features about survival horror games; the frustrating controls. Anything from unresponsive controls to bad camera angles make the survival horror genre so much more frustrating/stressful (in the best way in my opinion). Trying to locate objects around an abandoned apartment while a monster hunts you down is great fun. Even with controls that can be somewhat frustrating, this game is a blast to play. 10/10 would collect cupboard doors in an elevator again
