SKY & TELESCOPE HOT PRODUCT 2014!
Satellite Safari is your tour guide to the universe of satellites that humanity has launched into orbit around our home planet.
According to The Mac Observer: "I regard this app as authoritative ... Amateur astronomers, wanting to get a photo of the ISS, could use it to plan the pass. Government and military people could use it for all kinds of planning operations. And teachers, students and even casual users just wanting to learn more about particular satellites could learn a lot ... It would be hard to ask for anything more." See the full review:
The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW) writes: "My tests of the app were positive. No crashes, no surprises... A very cool app." Here's the full review:
You can use Satellite Safari to learn more about the International Space Station and many hundreds of other satellites already in orbit. Satellite Safari will tell you where to find them in the sky, when they'll pass overhead, and where they are orbiting over Earth right now.
Satellite Safari can show you the spacecraft that will pass over your location at any given time. You can even get a "bird's eye view" from a satellite itself, and see the Earth from orbit exactly as the satellite sees it!
Satellite Safari updates its satellite orbit data from celestrak.com automatically every day. All satellites include facts and figures computed for your precise GPS location, and updated every second. Many satellites also include descriptions that give you the mission's history, purpose, and more.
Satellite Safari's simple user interface and super high accuracy make it an invaluable tool for exploring the spacecraft in orbit around our home planet. Please feel free to contact us at www.southernstars.com if you have further questions. We hope you enjoy using Satellite Safari!

Ratings and Reviews
Interesting app. Where is the reset button?
Really enjoyed the first couple minutes then all of a sudden I must've navigated incorrectly and now I can't see the globe nor any other satellites. Is there a reset button to get back to the full globe view? It's confusing.
Great app, easy and accurate!!
If you enjoy the night sky, along with it's man-made additions, this app will certainly guide you to them. You may even find your neighbors joining in. Beware, it can become addictive and lead to other night-sky apps! I have always been one to look up at anything in the sky, be it natural or man-made. Being born at the beginning of the "space age" and remembering back to the time we sat in our elementary school classroom watching live TV as the first "Mercury Program Manned Flight" a tiny capsule named "Freedom 7" atop an (Atlas Rocket?) lifted off from Cape Canaveral with Astronaut Alan Shepard aboard we could never have imagined where we are today!! Well, enough of that. The cost of this app is nothing for what it does!
This app is well worth three dollars if you are an aviation/space enthusiast
I bought this app because
Of a very fast light I seen
Moving from my farm, the
App told me the speed of the satellite and the distance traveled along with digital models of the satellite and earth. The cool part is you don't even Have to enter the name of the satellite or any thing the sattelite a just come and go on your map.
