I’ve been utilizing this app for quite some time as an “out of sight, out of mind” savings. My goal was to save for a trip to Hawaii for a friend's baby arrival. One of the best features of this app, as opposed to others, was its ability to calculate the overall cost of how I’d want to spend my vacation time. That being said it's allowed me to be honest with myself regarding my lifestyle even while on vacation; granting me a level of transparency on the amount I should be saving on a weekly basis. It was a reasonable amount, that I now am thankful I had saved automatically given the current state of the economy. Since I was honest with myself regarding my lifestyle, the amount saved was adequate for what I’d need now in the pandemic we are in. I’m neither worried about having to tap into my personal savings, nor my personal accounts, rather this app has helped me save for the “rainy day”, that has now come. Overall, I believe it is a well-calculated savings app and a great way to track your lifestyle and align them with your future goals, or in this case the “unexpected”.

I love this app! I’ve tried other savings platforms before not none of them are as easy to set up and navigate through! This app is a great tool to put vacation plans into perspective and to really see how budgeting comes into play. Everything was very clear and I was able to get all the information I needed to plan out my vacation in just a matter of minutes! I was quickly able to find the best deals without having to go through 10 different websites. This saved me a lot of time and energy! Not only does it help me see costs, but it also is a very effective and efficient way to budget and save up. I have the freedom to change savings goals, and to have a customized savings plan based on what I want to do. Sadly I can’t go anywhere now with the coronavirus, but I already have a clear idea of what my next trip will be and exactly how much money I’ll need saved up to make it happen. Definitely recommending this to anyone who has vacation plans. This is a app is an in one stop!

So, starting my journey with savely, it is a wonderful tool that encompasses with not only saving money but knowing how to budget, seeing what is truly needed to reach your goals on a wide array of travel expenses. For instance, if I want to book a trip to paris in September, it is so user friendly because I can tap into the nights of stay, hotel preferences of (average, luxury, etc), how many days I plan on going, and the travelers. So then, savely does the calculations for you!!
It shows you how much your nightly rate is for: flight, hotel, food, transit, and activities. With all this before your eyes and combined, you get to see the total cost and wow!!! I never knew I needed this smart handy craft but it’s so efficient especially for a grad study like me who wants to know how to save, budget, and make smart goals for my trip to be a smooth sail, reassured, with a nice glass of wine in hand :)
