Say No to Notch 4+

It is an incredible little program and does exactly what it says it will do! It is lightweight, and disables the notch in a way I never would've thought of doing before, very innovative!

My one question: you can enable 'double clicking the black area to disable the notch', is there any way you can enable the reverse too? So if I want to disable the notch for a period of time by double clicking it and then I want to enable it again, I can double click it and it'll toggle it back on again? I feel like this feature is sorely missing, unless it's there and I just don't see it! Being able to double click as a two-way toggle rather than a one-way toggle would make the program even more seamless! Please do!

But anyway, thank you for such a marvelous program! I know that if I ever need to disable the notch, I now can! Awesome! :D

P.S., how can I donate to you, developers?

While the same effect can be had by going to the System Settings -> Display, show all resolutions, and select a vertical size just smaller than your current size (eg: 1512 x 945 instead of 1512x982) will do the same thing. Or you can get this little gem and switch it back and forth with the switch in the app UI , or a quick double-click on at the notch (how come there is no quick double click back? But this is MUCH EASIER and quicker than settings. I would love to see a mode where the screen could stay full size and the hidden icons get moved to the other side of the notch. Apple should have done that, but maybe harder than it looks.

Like a few other comments, minus 1 star for making the purchase right away, and the dialogue still shows up. Restore purchases says “no purchases.” That is a little annoying. I ave paid twice now. Will see if this sticks, or I might have to take another star away.

Request: leave the menu icon even when the program is not running, so we can still switch using that.

Say No to Notch is the solution to a problem that should not exist. But since it does, and Apple offers nothing to help, despite having created the notch problem in the first place, I’m glad I found Say No to Notch. It’s simple, elegant, and not only do I not miss the screen real estate, on those occasions when I think of it, I have to check if Say No to Notch is even running! When I disable it, and see the notch reappear, I’m always amazed how invisibly it runs and how quickly I got used to it.
